Billy Cotton Big Band - The Sound of Billy Cotton's Big Band

Billy Cotton born William Edward Cotton was an English band leader during the British Dance Band era whose musical career began as a drummer in the 1910s. He was born in London, joined the Royal Fusiliers and saw service in World War I. Over the years, his straight dance band shows transformed to a more music hall entertainment programs. After the World War II, he started his show on BBC called:”Billy Cotton Band Show”.
