The War Years Collection is a selection of the songs and music, including film soundtracks that provided entertainment, reflection and relief during the most testing of times. These albums are divided between 1940 and 1945 and comprise of these recording made in each of these years. The aim of this collection is not only to remind us of the wonderful melodies that laid the foundations for the popular music of the 1960s and 1970s but also to associate these songs to our cultural heritage. Independently of wartime or not the sounds of this era will have their place in history as a milestone encouraging international peace and respect for human rights.
